Grab-it

I never buy anything from these $19.95 TV specials, but they are advertising one now that I'm thinking about. They call it a Grab-it. It is something like the old Easy-out, but looks like it might actually work. Anybody have one? What do you think of it?

    They work, but so does a left hand helix drill. The Grab-It is a little over priced (I figure $10 to $12 would be more like it) but the design is good and the idea is old, tested and solid. I don't know the quality of the tool steel they use, but I wouldn't hesitate buying it if I needed it. How often are you really going to use it in a home enviroment, so it should last.

    I have a set of Easy-Out, I think that's the brand name but I lost the box years ago. It works, but there ain't nothin' easy about it. I ring off screw heads a lot more often than you would think, especially with deck screws. [:D]

    This one looks like an improvement on the old Easy-out, but everything looks easy on TV.
