Gun Rights and Constitutional forum locked?

What happened? Everything in that forum is locked[:(]

  yep, i just checked, and you are right...i wonder whats happened there? hopefully someone will know and tell us.

  If that's true, then the lockout is no longer necessary, but I won't override another moderator without reason.

  I once moderated a board that dealt with Radio Controlled cars and trucks.
  
  Sometimes when a member got out of hand the Moderator/s of that forum would lock the entire forum. That allows for the Administrators to review the problem post and it also does not allow the problem poster to come back and delete his/her post to get rid of any damning "evidence".
  
  Moderators can only move, edit, delete or lock a thread. They have no power to ban a member that causes problems. To do that they must take their case to a "higher court" and let them take the appropriate action in the manner as they see fit.
