    I picked this up on Tuesday. I got a pretty good deal on it, based on what I have seen completed auctions go for. It is a Browning BBR in 30-06. It has some "character marks" on it, but it is a great shooter. The original price was posted as without scope, but the seller decided it was not worth the effort to remove the scope. Base and rings are Redfield. The scope is a Bushnell 4-12AO. It came with the leather sling too.

    I bought it mostly for trade fodder, so I don't know how long it is going to stay around, but if it keeps shooting the way it does, it may stick around for a while.

    Just picked this up for 280.00 I guess I'm going to have to borrow gas and lunch money from the wife this week. It's chambered in .270
    been looking for one for awhile to add to my collection only 35 rem and 257 roberts to go.

    EAA Witness full size steel in .45 ACP with a .22 LR conversion. Bought it as a package deal.

    I have a .38 Super conversion ordered for it as well.

    I agree. If I decide to keep it, I will give it a whirl. I haven't ever done a stock restoration, but I am sure that I could do it.
