    He didn't seem too angry. At least it wasn't the engine that went, just a U-joint, traction bars, shocks, and other random suspension parts.

    wheee... many moons ago was racing at wichita and ran time trials without breaking out for a friend who ran elimination so i went to stands to sit...when rail jobs came thru i watched the team members wiping down tires as drivers did burnouts..my side crew wiped tires & another came running out & hit him "kerwhop" & then lively discussion was on...drive did not see this going on & staged properly...green light...wind em up & right side tire smoked off into the air, over end of stands & missed everyone & parked cars...that was wild for about 10 seconds.. never knew exactly what the wiper did wrong
