Has anyone seen one at a dealers yet? If not, any idea when they will become available? Despite some people's apparent dislike for SIG's customer service, I still like my SIG 220s (both 45 and 9mm)better than any other centerfire pistol I have ever handled in their class, so am anxiously awaiting the availability of the Mosquito.

ive been thinking of getting a 22 cal semi auto pistol for a while now and have been looking at these. anyone have one? how do yo like them? i lloked up some vids on youtube and seems that they are pretty picky abouut what ammo they like? 0 -
Has anyone had the chance to shoot one of these yet? Hope they live up to the SIG reputation.
I bought two Walther P22s last year for me and the wife...sold them after numerous FTF and ejection problems. Magazines were the WORSE I have ever seen on a 22; seemed too wide for the rim and they failed to line up properly.

Anyone shoot one of these yet?? I was wondering what they were like. Are they the same size as the P220 or 226's. I was thinking of getting rid of my Walther P22 and putting the $ towards one. But if its got the same small frame, foggetaboutit.

I absolutely love mine. I have heard horror stories about them not being able to hit the ground when dropped, but mine is 'da bomb. Great feel and it is the perfect training pistol because of all the bells and whistles. 0 -
I'm thinking of getting one as a training tool for my wife, and in a few years my daughter.
My wife has been to the range a few times with me using the Ruger MKII, but it would be nice for here to practice with a gun set up closer to the 'standard' modern semiauto pistols.0 -
HI, bought one a month or so ago , have only test fired 10 rounds so far as I have not been to the range lately. but , the fit and function seems very good , and has all the features most folks look for, it is slightly smaller then it's bigger bore brothers , so would be great for those with smaller hands . the looks are totaly sig. and it seems the pricing is really good right now. I paid only $299. plus tax. for the two tone version brand new I think it was a great price. the one down side is it has only a 1 year warrenty , and comes with only one mag. I was able to get three extra mags for under $100. total cost over the internet. makes you wonder,,, 9 mags are worth as much as the whole gun? any way i'd say get one and good luck , and happy new year . I love mine, have had it for about a year now! It's a scaled down P226, i think it's 10% smaller. I like the de-cocking lever! 0 -
Have yet to get through a box of 22's without several jams. Have tried virtually all of the high-velocity rounds but still no luck. I'd never buy another. 0 -
No personal experience but I was also taken by this gun and asked my gunsmith for his opinion. He said most are unreliable and break down frequently.
That's what he said but I didn't ask how many he'd seen. Since it's a fun gun and you are not betting your life on it give it a try.0 -

Not 1 problem here but I am using the LaPua high end ammo, try them out but get ready to empty a pocket for them.

Try using standard velocity ammo. I would bet that it will clear up your jamming problem.0 -

They come with two recoil springs. One for fast loads and one for standard loads. The springs also have to be put in the right way. Mine works fine. 0 -
had mine since they came out, works great. maybe one or 2 ftf but that was bad Rem ammo. lot cheaper to shoot these dayscompared to a cf. 0 -
I remember when they first came out. We got one iin the store and I wouldn't put it down. It felt great in my hand. We had a banquet and it was given away. Guess who won it? I still have it and it shoots wonderfully. 0 -
They are great little guns....but I wish the trigger wasn't friggin 17 lbs with half a mile of creep in it.
If the Walther had a bigger grip it would beat the Sig by leaps and bounds....just my personal oppinion though.0 -

Why don't you look at the Browning Buckmark or Ruger .22 pistols. They've both been around awhile and are totally reliable. 0 -
