what's your favorite breakfast meal?

Love cream of wheat, red river cereal, oatmeal, even love grits with br. sugar and milk...but only like buttered toast with any cereal.. 0 -

I put a little milk and brn.sugar on all of the above.Grits,(white are better than yellow)cream 0 wheat,oameal etc.[;)]DARK Brn. is a bit too strong for my liking, but hard 2 beat that sweet light brn, or even "raw" sugar...YUMMMMY[:D] 0 -

I ride my bicycle over to the gun club early (no shooting until 8:00 am, so it is nice and quiet!) most mornings for some quiet time to read, think and pray and I fix my own breakfast a little packet of Quaker Oats cooked cereal with cranberry juice and decaf coffee. I buy the really big boxes and they are cheap and good for the bod and the variety is good! 0 -
Anybody knows that the only acceptable topping for grits is LOTS of real butter, with crispy bacon crumbled into them, and a soft fried egg cut up and stirred in. YUM YUM GOOD! 0 -

Yeppers, and I have used the real maple syrup....or try pancakes with jam on it, or preserves with whipped creme...

I have some of the best maple Syrup around. it is all from my own trees, and a friend has a sugar bush next to me, and collects and boils, bottles and sells...locally, and commercially. that Vermont maple syrup you hear about....about 60 percent of it is just bottled in Vermont, but originated in the Adirondack region of New York.0 -

I have had that too, and do help in the gathering/boiling process. On a good year, he puts down about 1300 gallons of syrup. He will not make anything above medium AA fancy amber, and 75% is the AAA fancy light amber. They make maple cream, maple butter, and the blessed maple sugar candie also.0 -

It sure is awesome(maple butter)...mrs. Butterworth taste like gasoline compared to that. Funny thing is, I have only ever sen it in the regional area of my secondary residence in the Adirondacks0
