Mini-14 GB Mod.?

hey Guys just wondering what the general opinion is. I have the oppurnity to buy a Mini-14GB mod with the factory folding stock. The unit is blue and is 95% for 500 dollars. Here is my questions 1. Is this truly a good deal or not? Do you think that these will increase in value in the future? I am looking at for "investment" purposes only and the fact that I have a thing for the MINI-14's that I cannot explain.

    Just go buy an AR-15 with a flash suppressor, Bayonet lug and a collapsible stock...then when the ban hits, you will have doubled your money.[:D]

    I'd hit it.
    I was out-bid on an auction for the factory folding stock.
    It went for $350 on ebay early last year. Just the stock.

    I've owned 4 Mini 14's and a Mini 30 over the years and love them! They're easy to take down and clean and are good plinkers. The older Mini's with a serial number prefix 181-xxxxxx are a good investment..[:)]

    I would love to have one of those. I am not a Mini fan but I do like the looks of the GB mod.

    If it is decent shape pick it up. If you don't please pass my name on to the seller for that price.

    Does anybody have an idea which one of the two (blue GB or SS GB) was produced fewer of the two?

    If you were going to go for one of them... get the ss model. They had made them for the Califoria Hwy Patrol in stainless with black plastic. If your looking for an investment of some kind.

    I would buy it in a heart beat. I have seen just the factory folding stocks alone for sale for $500.00.

    You figure it's about $500 for a new Mini-14 these days. I suppose if you can own it in your state and you like it enough buy it.
