Something is VERY wrong with me....

You know there is something odd when you are a FEMALE and you find yourself dancing around because of some oddball firearm deal. One of my buddies on the Birmingham Police department came in telling me about Smith model 10s being sold to the officers for $50 each. I stopped everything and asked him....WOW!!!! How many can I get!!!! Thats a GREEEAT price....even if they are crap....NOT BAD!!!! Lemme know what you can do!!! Can I go ahead and get you to call whoever NOW!!!!

Then.... I proceed to dance about the room in some kind of conga-style chant spasm singing "mo-del tens fo fif-ty bucks!" "mo-del tens fo fif-ty bucks!"

Thats when I realized. I have always been a little different than MOST gals...but this is a new level of different.

    From what I hear the officers are being given pick of the lot and there are many many many of them. The best are well kept with target trigger.....some even have boxes. The majority is just a pile of "working" firearms...at the bottom of the run are the ones nobody took care of and without a major over-haul they will pretty much be parts guns.

    ATF said they couldn't sell the guns because it would be "running a gun business." I think they had offered them to a security company and the deal never came through. I just get so excited when I think about it! I could put them to great use! They are always something security guards need to have. They are cheap enough to have a great run on Gun Broker!!!!

    Ohhhhh.....I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE I can get some!!!!! I'm just GIDDY thinking about it!

    I've been given the name of someone I need to talk to about the Smiths. I don't see why they wouldn't give me a chance at buying them!! I have the license to sell them properly and they wouldn't be handed out like cookies to the public. I would be a much better choice than some security group (like they've already tried.)

    I will jump on them if they let me buy them! I just don't want to be stuck with the very worst of them without at least being able to buy some of the good ones also. I hope two things.....they WILL sell them to me....and I can get them ALL for a deal.

    I think because of the license, you would be "qualified" to buy them.

    As far as selling them "properly", they should be sold to the public on an auction basis-they are the people who paid for them in the first place and would likely bring in the most money so they don't have to raise taxes any higher-and if you believe in the 2nd amendment, we should all be able to buy them.[;)]
