New carry permit-UPDATE-ARRIVED TODAY
Just dropped off my paperwork for a lifetime personal defense permit here in Indiana. County fees were 50 bucks, plus 75 to the state, plus 4 dollars to get the money order from my bank comes to 129 dollars. Oh yeah, my $131 county property tax refund check came in quite handy, and I have 2 dollars left over.
The license should be here in a month or two, but in the meantime, I'm still carrying on my Virginia CCW.

Not bad. At the po-po office they told me it would take a few months to get here, but it took just 5 weeks!

it's because you are in the south bend of the crack of michigan's azz. how does it smell down there? your ccw laws are WAY better down there though. it cost me just under $300 to get a 5 year license. i have to take a refresher and pay a renewal fee. i don't know exactly how much it will be, but not as much as the initial setup.0 -
Congrats on the lifetime license. Wish TX had one. I have to renew mine every 5 years. Used to be ever 4. $70 plus the range time and class--about $100 total. We have lifetime hunting and fishing licenses...maybe one day we'll have lifetime CCWs. 0 -
Wow.... I'm shocked, we dont have to renew in New York as long as you dont move from the issueing county. 0
