AR-15 help Question?

I ordered a new grip for my Bushmaster AR-15 and it says in the catalog to watch the safety spring/detent when replacing. A member here was kind enough to answer one of my questions, now I have another. Is the spring and detent going to come flying out when I take the grip off? Or will it stay intact as long as I dont remove it?

  It will not come "flying out" but you will need to watch the spring.
  
  The spring mostly fits into the handle and less into the receiver. As long as you keep the receiver upside down (which it will be to unscrew the grip) you do not need to worry about the detent.
  
  The big issue is when reinstalling the new grip. Make sure the spring does not get crushed or pinched between the grip and the receiver.

  What kinda grip did you get?
  I put a Hogue on my two AR's.

  I put the Hogue on mine also, and it is a big improvment over the original.[;)]
