Speaking of Concealed................
................ is there someone around here from Minnesota who knows for sure what currently is involved in getting a permit to carry? I had one for years back when all you had to do was apply for one at your local police dept. than the chief would do a background check, than issue you a permit, they even delivered my permit right to my front door a couple of times. Than they changed the laws and you had to go the sherriffs dept, fill out a form, pay $100 to take the class, than pay the sherriff another $100 to issue the permit, they could have charged $1.00 if they wanted to, but insisted on charging the maximum instead. The permit was good for 5 years at that time. That's when I decided I didn't need a permit to defend my self. Has this changed any or would I still have to go thru the same B.S?

O.K. Thanks, now I just need to find someone close to my area that gives the course reasonable. I guess things haven't changed any over the years, bet the sherrifs dept. still wants a hundred freekin bucks to issue the permit! 0
