most popular form of rebellion these days, everybody's getting one (but me that is) Most of the people that I know "personally" that have one, all wish they didn't have it now. Most also confess they got it at a weak moment, either drunk, dared, trying to get in somebody's undies or just plain out of it.
I don't think more of or less of anyone with them, just don't get the craze about them and know I don't want something I can't wash off or grow out.
kinda like the whole earring thing too. I'm not saying they are the same, just both strike me as a little too "out there" for me to do either one. too old and set in my ways I guess.0 -

CHAPARRAL, N.M. - Getting a tattoo can be a painful proposition, but usually it's just the needle you have to worry about.
Two men trying to trace a loaded .357-caliber Magnum as a pattern for a tattoo accidentally shot themselves, the Otero County Sheriff's Department said Monday.
Robert Glasser and Joey Acosta, both 22, were treated at a hospital in El Paso, Texas, after the shooting Thursday evening in nearby Chaparral.
Authorities said Glasser was struck in the hand when the gun accidentally went off, and Acosta was hit in the left arm. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.0 -

People who regret theirs got one for the wrong reason. It took me almost 10 years to get mine, but only because it had to be the right one, for the right reason, with the right meaning. It was a well thought out reward done while sober and I have no regrets.0 -
Can't speak for anyone else, but I got my first one at 44. Everything else on my body I was born with. I have found a few things I will never regret have tattooed on me. I have a heart with "Shari" in it, a Yin/Yang, an astrological symbol, and a "Sandy Angel" Ex Wife name, no letters, but it's a angel in a bikini sitting under a palm tree on the beach. Very original as I drew it myself.

ELK, I have several myself.....get what you want where you want...But I STRONGLY urge you to "shop around" and find an artist that is willing to listen and help you achieve the desired "effect" you are looking for........and yes... Tattoos are like herpes..they are forever. I have no regrets about any of mine.......and they are addicting........kinda like firearms... you can't just have one[;)] 0
