When I am looking to buy "anything" from an auction. I want to know what the shipping charges are going to be. I have seen "actual shipping costs" to be anywhere from $15 to $70 for a rifle. I would email BEFORE I bid to find out, but putting them in the auction description is usually a good idea. NOT a complaint, just a suggestion.

i'll bet it sells for his price with no problems
but i would go back and put in a few more pictures and i would set a shipping charge of not more than $25 even if it did cost more than that to ship, i would eat the difference , but you should be able to ship it for 25 or less0 -

Dont be discouraged man . List at what you want and see what happens . If she doesnt sell after a few times through then lower it a little at a time. Somebody will bid on it sooner or later. If you want to move it quick then I'd lower it to atleast 300 and see where the bidding goes. We have over 150 sales here with all A++ feedback. Some items have sold for much more than I thought and some for much less. Advice on shipping costs is solid though. You must list a set cost and leave it at that . IMO the price is a bit high but like I said WHO KNOWS .. 0 -

He'll get it. Do a search for 9422's, especially SOLD ones. I bought a 1981 XTR model new in the box for $299 just before the Winchester factory closed in 2006. Now, they're bringing around $799.0 -

I let the market determine the value. Thats why I start all my auctions at $1 with no reserve and never use a "buy it now".
All I did was quote book price to you and my book seems to be out of date when it comes to Winchester lever actions. I guess the closing of the New Haven plant has really had an impact on values. Was the 9422 even made in New Haven?0 -

Well I based my starting price by researching "Completed Auctions" on the Auction side. I was surprised by the comments on the price by some members.
