EBay retalitory feedback NO MORE!!

Ask and ye shall receive! I have been harping on this for years. Looks like they finnally got wise and implemented it. This will make sure sellers are held accountable for their actions and that feedback extortion can no longer be used by sellers. Bravo! Hopefully "other" auction sites will follow suit!

    Good! A buyer need only pay his money promply to earn feedback arsehole seller routinely withhold.

    You have to look at it two ways. I don't like the idea all that well myself. Why have a feedback system if all you can give are good comments? Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.

    Also, now the buyers can "push" the sellers around. Threaten them with a negative feedback and not a damn thing they can do about it. They will have to take the bad feedback or give in to whatever the buyer wants. It happens; I've been victim to it. Buyers couldn't do that before or they would receive bad feedback as well.

    Oh well, doesn't matter to me anyway. I've pretty much stopped selling anything on ebay anymore. I still buy a few things I find cheap, but I do little business there now.

    The only two neg's I got were from a asshat buyer who tried to force me to take Pay-Pal. We did not use Pay-Pal at that time and so was stated in our auctions. Can't please them all.

    And as far a E-bay sucking, I'm laughing all the way to the bank, while others are whining about how they can't afford to buy this gun, or that gun.

    YUP...MOST EBAYERS ARE SICKO FREAKS ANYWAY...I SAY WAIT TO LEAVE FEEDBACK UNTILL ITEM IS REC..Ebays rules ar bucked anyway you look at it.

    whats the point of feedback if you can't leave a negative or neutral. might as well remove it all together. eBay sucked then, now it really sucks

    They're reducing start-up fees, these are changes after Meg retires in March.

    Not being able to leave a negative for a bad buyer, horse bababooey!

    Guess I'll just have to boycott them and sell on yahoo auctions, done.

    ebay is no longer the only kid on the block that works.

    The only thing a buyer can do to deserve it (neg)is not pay his bill. If you (a seller) have to file a NPB report to get your fees back, perhaps they will figure out to allow negative with that.
    When I sell online anywhere, buyers get their positive feedback as soon as I get the bucks. Now the lousy sellers have no excuse not to follow my good example. [;)]

    That is NOT the only negative thing a buyer can do.
    Draw out paying, with sad sob emails, for a month or even MORE.
    Paying only part of the total, refusing to send the rest.
    Paying with PayPal (or other means) when EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN in the sellers rules.
    Demanding partial money back, claiming a FALSE condition of the item.
    Not following the carriers procedure, if an item is damaged in transit, then blaming the seller.
    The list goes on and on.
    Fantasy world vs. real world.

    I'll wait and see if the predicted threats to the sellers (as per the sellers conversations "over there") from buyers, comes to pass.
    With NO RECOURSE available to the seller, for "SOME" human nature will prevail. [V]

    it doesn't say you cannot use the description and put it into words that a buyer suks, only negs i have are from a hole sellers, i don't know what it is about people who sell electronics, but they can be a holes

    i just wish it was retroactive
