  I prefer the bottom one, the ole' peacemaker. but any handgun is pretty when it isn't looking like this...

  I like the looks of the Bird's Head better. They look real cool with the short 2 1/2" or 3" barrel.

  Dang. I like the birdshead better. My local gunshop has both in stock so I am going to go look at them side by side. They will not get my business though due to other reasons.
  
  I think I will get it in the shorter barrel.
  
  I am thinking of getting into the cowboy shooting.

  I love the birds head, but it looks better with a shorter barrel. You could always buy one of each, the tradional in a leg holster and have the birds head in a cross draw, think Doc Holiday in the movie Tombstone.

  Bird's head, like the Bisley grip is easier on the hand to shoot. How about this: carry the standard grip on the right hip and the bird's crossdraw on the left, like Doc Holliday. At least Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday.
