? for anybody that is a Sgt.

Can anybody tell me where to put collar brass on a winter jacket that doesn't have collars? A pic would be nice since I seem to be having a hard time understanding the instructions I was already given.

    I'm not a sergeant, and I don't know enough about Army uniforms to look it up, but here's a link to Army Uniform Regulations. Hope it helps.

    If your jacket has a strap on each shoulder, I think I recall that the insignia pins to that strap.

    What is the name of the jacket? Dinner jacket? Field Jacket?, etc.?

    Epaulets (sp?). In the Army we had cloth slip on insignia that went on them.

    I think Fast is meaning winter LEO jackets.

    Fast, our SO here wears them either sewn on the sleeves or on the epaulets if the jacket has them. Seems they have different jackets depending upon the supply source at the time.

    For an ECWS coat the insignia goes on the little flap on the belly.

    Sorry, should have been more specific.
    It is an MA-1 Flight Jacket, and is for an LEO Sgt.
    I seem to be the only one who still has the old style jacket, and being a new Sgt. I am not sure where to put the brass.

    I've already got those figured out.
    I tried google but I guess I didn't put in the right words.

    Thanks anyway. I guess I'll wait to see if someone who has had to fool with it checks in. Hopefully I'll get one the new gortex jackets before too long. They actually have collars.
