I've seen more women than men rev a stone-cold engine immediately after starting, because it stalls going out of the driveway if they don't. Not a second used for warmup.
I'd sooner buy a 50,000mi car from a traveling salesman than the proverbial "old lady, church on Sunday" type driver. Joe0 -
Depends. Driving- men. Maintence- women. I.e. men are more likely to speed and hot rod and hit bumps fast and slam on the brakes. Women are more likely to ignore oil chages, tune ups, etc. 0 -
Women definitely. My wife's '99 Blazer has 90,000 miles on it and it's closer to going in the crusher than my '93 F-150 with 150,000 miles, and my truck has been sitting for the most part of the last three years plus a trip out to North Dakota. 0 -

That pretty much covers it.0 -

ok but you are comparing apples to horse poop...or to keep it linear horse poop to apples0 -
during the course of my 300 mile a day driving i see way more soccer moms in big suv's talking on a cell phone driving like they where qualifying for nascar than i do men, and my wife has to drive like an idiot she has to accelerate as fast as she can from stop sign to stop sign hitting the brakes as hard as she can at the last possible minute, the last time we had ice on the road she drove home ran in the house telling me her car was messed up because it was making noise like a garbage disposal when she hit the brakes, i explained how anti-lock braking works but nooooo i had to take her for a ride, and funny thing was they did not need to work at all till i drove like an idiot and slammed on the brakes directly on a patch of ice
took years to get her to stop driving with 2 feet, one on the gas, one on the brake0 -
Overall, I would say I am, moreso than Mike, due to the sheer milage I put her.
But I check my own oil, and service when necessary.
Go figure, I live with a mechanic. If I wanted do this stuff my entire life, I would have hooked up with a accountant.[;)]0 -
My wife goes from reverse to forward faster, brakes harder and needlessly accelerates faster. She's harder on the car than I am. 0 -

That took me about two days to stop doing when I was 16. Oh I STILL use 2 feet- but now I have a car with a clutch! [:D]0 -

when i first taught my stepson to drive, he kept doing it, i got out took my belt off wrapped it around his left leg and the seat bracket, it took 2 times but i broke that habit before it came a real habit
my wife claims it was because she drove a manual when she learned how to drive
now my sister in law thats one curb biting woman right there, i believe she think they are just suggestions0 -
I am blessed that the wife is part of a large auto parts family and she knows better.[:D][;)] 0 -
MY WIFE
turn key and go [V], all trash goes in the pass side floor [:(!]. and she does not know why she cant drive my car,[;)]0 -
My sister in law hasn't open the hood on her ever and I will walk before I ever ride with her again. The one time I rode with her I got real close to God I think I dented her floorboard bracing myself for the upcoming crash 0 -
Wallie could phrase it in the form of a cartoon? thanks 0 -

If U need to ask...I ain't sayin................ 0 -
Women are harder on cars! My sister-in-law needs brakes every 15,000 to 20,000 miles on every car she's ever owned! Most cars don't need brakes until 50,000 to 60,000 miles. 0 -

I hope that don't mean you're "riding" the clutch. [}:)][}:)]
