I know that our 2nd is only important to those of
us who own gun. I just really hope that everyone

It isn't JUST the Second Amendment that bothers me.
ALL freedoms are going away..rapidly. Laws and programs are steadily being put in place that will make it impossible to regain them.
It is going to come down to the will of a very few people..if they have the courage to utilize the methods completely understood by the Founders as the ONLY means to resist tyranny.0 -

No, not really. You'd be surprised how many non-gun owners out there understand the 2nd. They don't have guns for their own reasons, but they'll tell you they understand the purpose of the 2nd, and don't want to live in a nation where you CAN'T have guns.0 -
MOST people DO NOT understand what is going on and DO NOT CARE...don't believe me....just look at the caliber of people in & running for public office....& the vast number of morons that allow this to happen 0 -

I was talking to a man yesterday who owns a Marlin 336 and took a deer a few months ago, he told me "he could care less about the future of gun rights in this country" he's college educated and plans on voting on whoever is the democrat contender.

You act as if the "caliber" of people running for office is something that the people have a choice over.
How many of the people running for office today did you choose to actually run for office? I'm guessing none.
Part of the reason you get bad people running for office is that most good, decent people don't want the job. It is a thankless job. If you've ever had a thankless job, you'd understand (I have).
People don't want the job because your life is essentially an open book at that point. Everything you've ever done from the time you were about 15 or 16 is scrutinized and presented in the absolute worst light possible. Every decision you've made is second-guessed and everything that's come out of your mouth is twisted to mean something it didn't, just so someone else can show what a louse you are. And, if they can't find enough, that's okay, because they'll make schit up and you spend your time debunking the lies instead of concentrating on the issues.
Your family life is also over. Try as you might to keep your wife and kids out of the picture, it ain't gonna happen. If your wife is pretty, or young, your enemies will create stories as to why they are actually together.
If you got a divorce, no matter what happened, it is going to be your fault by the time they're done with you. You might have been the greatest husband on earth and your wife could have been the town wh0re, but by the time all is said and done, you verbally abused your wife and treated her like a slave.
And, speaking of wh0res, you have to remember the one you used once a week during your entire marriage. Funny how you don't remember it, because your political enemies have sworn affidavits from the prostitute.
You'll have been accused of doing crack cocaine even if you've never had a drink in your life, and if you deny using crack, you're a liar because they'll trot out someone who said they sold you crack 30 years ago.
Every financial dealing you ever had, be it purchasing a house or a stock market investment, will be looked over and publicly questioned.
If you've been in the military, your record will be examined and tarnished. It doesn't matter if you were a hero and saved 500 of your buddies - you were too aggressive in the battle and killed too many innocents. Or, if you were a POW, you supplied the enemy with information in order for them to go easy on you. And, they'll find a North Korean, Russian or Vietnamese who will back up the story.
If you got into a great school, it was because your family pulled strings for you, since you weren't smart enough to get in anyway. It doesn't matter if you graduated with a 4.0 GPA and Honors because everyone knows you paid off your professors.
Don't forget all of the criminal activity you were involved in but were never caught doing, because your political enemies can find hundreds of eye witnesses you've never met from towns you've never been to.
You wonder why we don't get great people running for office... I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't want to run, and I'm not ashamed of 90% of my past.0
