old rifle back home /pic

I done some trading with my dad and got my very 1st deer rifle back [:D]
Dad had gave me a marlin / glenfield for a 8th grade gift and about 15 years ago I baught my 1 st house and dad helped me out with some work on the house I got so I gave him the 3030 because he needed a rifle with a scope
well he was going to get a front set of tires the other day so I told him Id buy them then today he brought my old gun back and said it was time for it come home besides he baught another one a few years back for 150.00 bucks so he said he did not need two.[:D][:D][:D][:D] im happy hers a pic.
the scope and mounts are coming off [:p][:D]

    thanks Hunter but this ones not going anywere ever again [}:)][:p][:D]
    but there will be a give a way Im just tring to dig something up special for the 4000er.

    I don't blame you one bit!! She's a keeper!!

    I'm gonna have a 2k giveaway soon. I blew right by 1k and didn't notice. LOL

    Great deal! Those old Marlins are some fine rifles.
    Good idea to ditch the scope, I hate those see through mounts.

    Congrats on getting it back. I'd hang onto it too.[:)]

    Glad you posted that. I mounted a scope on a similar gun, and mounted
    it just as your's is shown, but recently saw one with the mounts
    angled rearward...although they didn't look all that bad mounted that
    way, it made me wonder if i'd mounted mine properly.(?)
