Tried your recipe for dolmades, couldn't choke 'em down. Used 1 lb of meat in the recipe and it made about 2 doz. Ate 2 and 1/2 of the third, couldn't do it man, sorry, too bitter. WHEW!!! 0 -

It is partly condition and partly rarity. No Kb box is going to be worth a staggering amount, but depending on condition, possibly as high as $30/bx. More likely *substantially* less. As a *very* rough rule of thumb, the most valuable .22 boxes are the more unusual ones from the Depression years, with pre-1900 boxes as second place. There were some very colorful short-lived box designs as the makers fought for market share in the former period. Couple such a box in real nice condition with an unusual loading such as HP or shot in a .22 Long, and it can bring big bucks (for ammo, anyway). But as CJ Oliver Wendell Holmes noted, however: "No generality is worth a damn . . . including this one." Send me a pic or post one here & perhaps I can give you some idea. 0 -

Has you rainfall situation improved yet?
We had a big blow last weekend, but not even a 1/4" accumulation.
Normally if we don't get good fall rain, combined with some spring rain we're in bad shape when summer rolls around and we start hitting the century mark.
Then we start praying for some tropical activity 'cause it's all we're likely to get.
I guess we need to do a collective "rain dance."

I agree totally that it's unfare for you (cali) to be where you are. But I am serious. The Gay's are getting things done by being seen. The 2nd-ers aren't. Do parades, marches on the capital, etc. But, leave the guns at home and do it peaceful. If you do that, I'll march with you. If you do that. I will feel your pain.. But if cali. that is about 49% 2nd-ers won't do anything to help out....
