Pedersoli, copy of a remington single barrel derringer.. shoots a BB with the use of a percussion cap. Up close it is dangerous..[:0]

Small can be such a derogatory souding word. Taking a cue from the candy MFGer's, I've requested that my wife use "Fun Size" in describing certain things. [:D]

It uses number 11 percussion caps just like a cap lock muzzle loader..

I saw this "gun" a few years ago and it took no.209 primers. I guess it was a conversion kit they stopped selling??? Also Cabelas sold it in two different calibers before, now they only offer one? maybe the other caliber and .209 primers made it too close to a real firearm.

Dixie Gun Works offer them in three different finishes (gold plate not shown)for $165.00. They are a copy of the Remington Rider Derringer Made by Davide Pedersoli in Italy. The original was made between 1860 and 1863 not exceeding 1000 pieces. They are primer powered (#11 cap) and fire a 4.3mm/.17 cal/.325 dia ball.1 in 18 twist.
