Nylon 66 fans
For those of you that realize a great rifle when you see it, check out the latest version of the "Standard Catalog of Firearms", this is the 2008, 18th edition.
There is a section in the middle that is color pages and it is a collection of nylons of one of our very own members here, Jim Stark. They even gave him the front and rear covers, along with the spine of the book.
Jim and I are both collectors and he contacted me this summer looking for somebody that had the Nylon 76 Trailrider, black and chrome version, to be able to include it in the spread. The first ones I saw in person were at the most recent Tulsa Gun Show, pricetag.........4000.00!![:0][:0] Now you know why I was unable to help Jim with his photoshoot.

Would that be the same as a Nylon 76 lever gun..?0 -
Wait. I've got a NYLON 66 Apache Black & Chrome. Daddy bought it new 40 years ago. I try to remember to shoot some pictures and post them. 0 -
My first rifle was an Apache 66. I recently saw one of those chrome editions at a local gunshow for $1100 0 -

The one Jake is linking to is the Apache Black Nylon 66, if it were the Nylon 76 Trailrider black and chrome, and was NIB, it would be a 5000.00 gun.

If you are asking about the Mohawk Brown Nylon 76, and you have one, and its in great shape, and you're selling it to me, ohhhhh, 'bout a hunert bucks, give or take, based on condition.
