Noting from the several threads on GB that there is an epidemic of misinformation and just plain old ignorance* about islamic beliefs compared to Christian beliefs, I offer the following links as means of educating oneself on the matter. No, the resources listed are NOT exhaustive on the subject. But these would be good places to start. There are scores of good books available on Amazon.com and in your local library that will contribute to your knowledge of the subject. It really is prudent to be informed, especially in light of the pressing and ever-increasing threat of islam against Western thought and culture, and in view of the steady stream of DIS-information flowing from the media, celebrities, and politicians, the president not excluded.

*no offense meant with the use of the term "ignorance"--everyone is ignorant until they become informed or educated. Ignorance can be deadly--willful ignorance of matters of life and death is foolish, and it can have very negative impact on ones children and family. You wouldn't allow your children to handle your guns without first instructing them and warning them of the dangers inherent in them, would you? You can't teach what you don't know. Don't YOU want to be informed so that YOU can do what is right by YOUR family and love-ones? There is more at stake with islam than most of us realize--certainly more than some on this forum are willing to acknowledge. Wise up--and survive!
