any one shoot magtech ammo

i found some 45acp at a pretty good price 185.00 per 600 new rounds
is it good shooting ammo,clean and reloadable? any one know how it compares to Rem. or Win? 230 gr. FMJ i've never shot any so i don't know.

    I've used it in several calibers for test firing, works fine and is reloadable.

    Brazilian, I think. Was owned by an American Co. Brazil has a rule/law that businesses must be owned by Brizalians. Get your money back, make a return on your investment, then turn it over. Interesting rule/law. Think we could learn from that? Not. Same US Company now uses a different name for their low end ammo. I think it is now made in US? Just can't remember the name of the Comany

    I have used some in 9mm .40 and .45. All feed fine!

    I do not know if you reload or not but their brass is awsome for reloading. I have loaded some .357 brass over 10 times and it is still going strong. Good luck trying that with Winchester or Remington brass.

    I hope it's not like the American Co (blue eagal on red background on the box). I bought a box of 10mm and shot it through my 610 and saw a few cases crack on them shells. Tossed the remaining and never bought from them again. Bad batch? Then again for 45 ACP it shouldn't be any issues being fat and slow[:D]. For all I know the Brazilian got better QC on their goods now.

    I have used some 223 I bought at a gun show, no problems at all.

    I just bought a bunch of the Magtech First Defense 165gr .45, solid copper rounds for my Kahr P45 and the round will not fit in the chamber. I'm pissed.

    Otherwise the ammo has been fine.

    Shoot that in my .357 Mag. Works great.

    30 carbine, one round had the case mouth bent when the bullet was being seated, so I threw that round away, other than that, shoots fine, and reloads great, although it seemed that the cases were awful long and needed considerable trimming after the first shot.

    Been shooting it in my 454 and they are fine. They do seem a little on the "hot" side though.
