If so, at least Bill had the wisdom to toss away the grip safety.
However, external appearances do not account for the fact that one pistol is an airgun and the other a .22 rimfire firearm. Huge internal differences.0 -
Bill Ruger said that he was inspired by the P-08 and other sources when he designed the MK, that is why the MK has the same grip angle as the P-08 0 -
There is a similarity to the P08, but the tubular top on the air pistol appears nearly identical to the Ruger design. The Luger has the more common rectangular look to the top part that the Ruger pistol doesn't share. 0 -

Rugers design was somewhat copied from the Nambu in that it cocks from the rear. He actually made tools before going into guns, and I have seen a small hand drill he made that is shaped like the .22. I have read that he actually made an exact copy of the Nambu in his shop. He developed some of his designs while attending the University of NC in Chapel Hill. Good thing he's not there now in that center of liberal idiocy, and also near John Edwards,(spit,spit), even typing that ashhole's name gives you a bad taste in the mouth. 0
