Why is gasoline so expensive?!?!

The 350% increase in the price of oil is a direct result of inflation. Inflation is the result of the Federal Reserve printing money out of thin air to pay for big government spending. If money was still backed by gold, gasoline would cost the same as it did in 2000, approximately $1.50 per gallon.
As with anything, the more there is, the less its worth. However, the Federal Reserve no longer publishes a report of the money supply, known as M3.
What are they trying to hide?

Inflation Theory makes no sense.
The Federal Reserve answers to no one and is secretive....they say there is $500 Billion US currency in circulation overseas...and $500 Billion in the US.
The Federal Govt's budget is in Trillions.....all the State budgets likely about a Trillion...consumer money is a few Trillions........and somehow there is only $500 billion in green backs in the US to back it up......
That's a paper deficiency. Let's say the Fed Reserve printed $5 trillion and got it into the economy.
Is there inflation?
No. There now is paper to back up computer account numbers.
How are we getting inflation then? Govt. trying to scam foreign loaners of money by saying our money is worth less.....foreign loaners don't make profit on loaning US money.
Could they be making you suffer for the Federal Governments internal financing failures?
You bet.0 -
Gas in its self is not expensive and diesel is less expensive. The retail price of fuel is whats expensive. Funny to me that none of the presidential runners are talking about what they would do to combat our fuel prices. 0 -
