What was that cheaper AR they made?

not sure if its still made.. I wanna say it was an armalite. Basically a no-frills AR, .223, iron sights I believe.

I can't remember the name.

yeah yeah it had a stock on it a believe and even one of those evil pistol grips.. [:o)]

seriusly cheapest Ar I have seen is blackthorn.. (not my recomendaion for an AR purchase though)

Olympic Arms makes one called a Plinker. They can be had for under $600.00.

Thats what I was thinking ... but if you have some basic tools and a bit of knowledge in how to use them, you can build your own for about the same money and higher quality.

nah, it was a different model, not an AR15. It was an AR-???. They went brand new for like $550 at the time, a few years ago.

Essential Arms makes a great low budget AR. use to be cast, now it's forged, still low budget. maybe that's who you were thinking about.
