Wish I hadn't have asked
At work today, I was eating lunch with some of the Global Management group. They are all Americans, and politics came up. One of the guys was saying that we needed a third branch of the government to serve as enforcement of the constitution.
I asked him what were the two he was thinking about. He told me, "The congress and the Senate."
I asked him if he had ever heard of the Executive, the Legislative and the Judicial branches, and did he know which was which.
He didn't have an answer, and these guys are supposed to lead my company into a global market.
Glad I'm retiring soon!

Danny...
Take a copy of the citizenship test to him...or rather get him to do it online...see how he fares....[}:)][}:)]0 -
He made the comment that his degree was in Business, not Law or Politics. I told him I learned the branches of Government in the fourth grade of public school, and all naturalized citizens had to pass a test proving they knew it too.
He never said another word to me, just changed the subject and addressed someone else sitting at the table.
It's beyond sad!0 -
you should have told him to save face and plead the 5th[:D] 0 -
