    We still have a '60s style restaurant here in town. It's just a sandwich shop but has Elvis and Janis Joplin posters on the walls. Also the old small juke boxes at each booth. They don't work though.
    45s are getting hard to come by but I still have a bunch.

    I go to the local cruise nights for good old memories.[;)]

    Some of you rich kids, maybe. I started out with a '66 Fiat 600 in 1969. Couldn't get out of it's own way. It had "Mexican Overdrive" which meant if you were going down hill, you could kick it out of gear and speed up. I didn't own a car worth more than $1200 until I was in my '30's.

    i sure wish i could have afforded a 3 year old car, or even a 1200 dollar car, unless you count the time i owned 2 500 dollar cars, and 1 350 dollar car

    Oh, I didn't own the Fiat, my dad and his three brothers went together and bought it. We each took turns driving it.

    brough back a lot of memories. my 56 chevy, 56 olds,59 chevy,62 chevy, the drive in restrauants. we had two Masons barn and Ferdernans
