FYI: del.icio.us / Net bookmarking
I spend a lot of time searching/researching the Net. I sift through a lot of boring stuff. But sometimes I hit real gems.
So, I've bookmarked a lot of sites in my web browser(s).
BUT, I also use multiple computers. So I don't always have access to the bookmarks - so, I use del.icio.us.
Check it out. For you windows guys - it's also invaluable for retaining bookmarks in crashes.

del.icio.us stores your bookmarks online. You can sign in and access your bookmarks from anywhere. It is really been handy over the years - so much in fact, that I keep thinking everyone knows about it.
It also helps you discover new sites. You can see what sites other people have saved. If you're looking for something in particular, search for it by keyword.

One caveat: Pay attention to your settings. If you want to keep bookmarks private, you must enable private saving.

You can save them on my yahoo also.... 0 -
You can also "export" your ie favorites to a file and then back the file up. This also alows to you "import" them to another computer so you have the same favorites on multiple computers.
The google toolbar also allows a similar function to that which you describe.0 -
