has anyone here ever sold anything to a famous person? i sold my personal winchester model 12 to larry potterfield,owner of MIDWAY. i had a hell of a laugh about that with my customers and even kept the check. that was the most famous person i have dealt with.
travis hafner of the cleveland indians and jim kliensasser of the vikings grew up around me so i sell them licenses every year but thats about it

  Back in the days when I sold cars, I sold a truck to Bob Seger, and sold several vehicles to Washington Redskins players. In my current profession, I've had several dealings with "celebrities", including Griffin O'Neal just before he killed Francis Ford Coppola's kid. Those were generally not favorable encounters.
  
  There have been more than one that got offended when I asked them for their identification.
