is supposed to appear on Ted Nugent's message board today.
Ted has posted that Jim was 100% sh ! tcanned from all his work.
Completely fired by everyone.
I've never participated with his site and I only found it because of Zumbo, but I don't really understand why Ted is putting so much input into trying to save Zumbo's rear.
Interesting.

    My satellite tv has been down for months. Got it back yesterday. Watched Jim Zumbo show on the Outdoor channel yesterday. Is he a good guy now that he has apologized for his remark on black rifles or what?[?]

    We all learn as we go. I think Zumbo realized the short-sightednness of his comments, and has truly repented. I like his writing. I suppose he was sent to Ted Nugent's Old Gun-writer's Camp to have his vision corrected.

    A lesson for us: it was curious to see how the anti-gun mob grabbed Jim's statement (probably way out of context), and ran with it.

    I say yes, he is now a good guy. We need to lovingly rebuke one of our family when they stray, and then welcome them back.

    I just know he is good. When I see him on TV, I look at his hair and I think of precious little black kittens on cotton batting in a pretty wicker basket. I feel the warm aura of peaceful Karmic energy emanating from his Gentle Spirit. Mr. Zumbo is wise and good. I just know it. Whatever he says, I support it. Whatever he does, I support it.

    Oh please. He is trying to reserrect his career after shooting himself in the foot. He has a long ways to go for me to watch any of his shows again.

    He has not gained my respect yet.

    I always thought he was a pretty good writer, a little bit "Big me, little you", but I think he is very poor tv host. All that said, He shot off his mouth, he was wrong, he admitted it, so as far as I am concerned I will watch him unless something better is on. Whether he meant it or not he apoligized. Surely none of us have ever made a mistake have we?[:D][:D][:D]

    Yes, he stuck his foot in his mouth.
    Yes, he apologised, (I think).
    Makes no difference, I didn't watch him then and don't watch him now, and won't watch him in the future.
    I get along just fine without him and his drivel.[xx(]

    Problem is...I still don't think he has fully grasped what he did...I don't believe he has a true understanding of the Second Amendment. He still believes this was all about hunting....

    I saw his show just yesterday, he was apologizing for his remarks about the black rifles.
    Then he went down to Ted Nugent's ranch in Texas to shoot some of the black rifles. Ted accepted his apology.
    It reminded me of Don Imus apologizing to Al Sharpton.

    The first gun Zumbo fired was a pink tiger striped [I am not making it up] M16 owned by Nugent's wife Shemane.

    I think you hit the nail on the head, Eric! To me, his "apology" was only empty words. He STILL thinks it's all about hunting.

    I do believe that his primary interest is hunting and that he appreciates his hunting guns more than others. Gun owners need to rmember the KY State Motto, United we stand Divided we fall

    I never watched his show because it was HIS show, I watched for some of the hunting content. But, I lost any respect for him when he made the black rifle statement, because you can not be selective about 2nd ammendment rights. Your either all for gun rights or you are totally against it, no middle ground here. There are lots of firearms I don't care to own, but doesn't mean I am against some one elses right to own them and enjoy them. I won't watch him anymore or support his sponsors, because I don't think he is genuinely sorry. My opinion.

The leader, of course, was Zumbogate, in which kindly old Jim Zumbo revealed that he was either Satan, or Satan's Spawn. However, he has since recanted and may no longer be Satan, or Satan's Spawn.

    He exposed his true views about the RTKBA and thus showed his ass.

    He got bent over for doing so and learned a valuable lesson.

    Now, he is supposed to have had an epiphany and has suddenly realized what Amendment II really means?? Spare me.....

    He can apologize all decade long. I am not interested in his opinions or views, period.
