What European nations allow most guns
I know Switzerland allows you to own almost any type of firearm- but immigration there is tighter than *insert reference to a tightly closed sphincter*
Where else could one go and still have gun rights similar to those found in most US states?

finland would have to be up there...i dont think they have to have a licence or registration either...as far as i can remember that is accurate information, but i havnt checked 0 -

yeah..my wife is in south africa for a holiday, they sell `em there too, every sports store has a good selection. and they`re cheap too!!..about $20 u.s. for a .22 ////the good thing about them there is, they will make them for you while you wait, and both ends screw off, so you can post `em home in seperate parcels and custome let them through [:D] 0 -

From what I have read, Switzerland is not as lenient with firearms as is often stated. Also from what I have read, Finland requires a license to purchase, registration, and all sorts of BS laws. 0 -
I have always wondered about this, when you search the net and try to find out about other countries gun laws sometimes they seem really great, yet go to a forum discussing the matter and you'll here nothing matches the US and other contries laws are much harsher than you think. I don't thinks its that they are better or worse but just different. In the US you can own all the way up to semi auto easily, in another country you may be able to own everything including machine guns, suppressors, no barrel length restrictions but in turn you would be probably giving up rights to self defense, tighter control( Perments, licenses, fees) and usage limits( if you buy a license to collect a firearm, that may not cover hunting, target shooting). If you just want the ability to own anything you want some of these countries might be better, but if you like your rights to do cash and carry, no required fee, licenses, ect and overall freedom with most guns except class 3. you better stay in the US. 0 -

so basically what I get out of this is as soon as someone turns about 18( or becomes a legal adult) they can buy pretty much whatever the hell they want to, although some weapons may require additional steps to legally obtain. 0 -

They do have to register and have a permit. They also encourage to use of silencers. But all the gun laws are getting tuffer there too, especially after that school shooting. Whn you go buy ammo you can only buy ammo for the guns (calibers) you have permit to.0 -
