Bush to be questioned about alleged improper gifts

SAN DIEGO - The sports marketing agent who says he gave former Southern Cal running back Reggie Bush and his family improper payments while he was attending college, will tell his story under oath in a deposition beginning Tuesday in San Diego, USA Today reported.

Lloyd Lake says he gave Bush, his stepfather LaMar Griffin and mother Denise Griffin $291,000 in cash, living arrangements and other benefits from November 2004 to January 2006.

    Well, the NCAA is quick to slam a S.E.C. school for infractions, the media favorite USC should be no different.

    Somebody should get fried on this one. Bush's parents were allowed to live in a very expensive house rent free for over a year, courtesy of his crooked agent.

    There is a lot of corruption in college athletics but most of it is not exposed. My brother played football at the University of Georgia, he said every month or so one of the guys would have a new Stingray. Hard to pay for that when you are a college boy from a poor family and you don't even have a part time job.
