Walking the dogs with a 4 wheeler

Does anyone else use their ATV to walk their dogs? This time of year I get my excercise on a treadmill and walk the dogs with the Honda. Every time it starts up the lab jumps up on the seat. They love their walk.

    Mine don't get much walking done as she usually just likes riding on it with me unless she see a critter to chase, and when she's done she hops back on and wants to go some more 'O)

    No. I use an invisible fence to walk the dog because I only have an acre.

    My dogs are on an invisible fence too. I take them out of it for their walk.

    Just don't let the lease/lead get caught in the axl/tires.

    Both my Labs ride on my ATV. One still rides on the front rack, and the other used to ride on the back behind me. They got excited just hearing the wheeler start up[:)]

    Yep, our yellow lab loves it when he the 4 wheeler fires up. He has a bad habit of running right next to the front tire and biting at it sometimes though. He got his paw run over once, and that seemed to stop it for a while. Now I just give him the tone on his zap collar and he's slowly learning not to do that.

    I did once, not on purpose though. We have countless miles of gravel
    and logging roads to ride on around here, and i took off one day, not
    really knowing where i wanted to go or end up.

    got a few miles down the trail behind the house and stopped for a bit
    and noticed that one of my female danes had followed me. Well, i
    continued for about a 20mi. circle before coming back by the house and
    tying her up. I think she could've went all day though.

    I run them at a petty good pace for 15-20 minutes.

    I have two invisible dogs.
    I just let them run at will.

    Around here, the dog sled guys use their quads to run the dogs in the spring, summer and fall. The dogs pull and the rider gets to apply the brakes! Those sled dogs sure can pull
