just heard that some people from here was in one today....one dead and sis inlaws cousin is still missing......cant find anything on the net about this... got any links?


well just found the denver post says nobody trapped so will have to see what shakes out i guess.

    in the last 14 days there has been 37 avanches in utah, and 3 to 5 people killed......[:(]

    ok it was in Wy. some of my friends went to Laramie snowmobiling wonder if they was part of this group...

    A South Dakota man is dead following an avalanche in Wyoming.

    According to the Albany County Wyoming Sheriff's Office, the avalanche happened Wednesday afternoon in southern Wyoming's Snowy Range, near Centennial.

    Dale Wagner of Miller was riding a snowmobile with a group of seven other people when the Avalanche hit. Four of the men were buried by the falling snow. The others were able to uncover those who were buried, and call for help.

    Wagner died as a result of the avalanche. Another person was reportedly injured, but the sheriff's office says that man refused medical treatment.
