Since the theme today seems to be Mexico my wife bought me a book,since i work for the Government,she thought it might come in handy or look good in my file.So she wen,t and bought me The Spanish language for Idiot,s >No Lie!!.Very interesting language,when she came through the door this evening i commensed to smoothly roll the language of love off my tongue.Yo be camino cazar fo Conejo,s.I am going hunting for rabbits.She gave me a frown.Wait!Did i look it up wrong? Was i supposed to say it backward?Maybe i should have started at the beginning of the book?I got it!Tomorro i will learn,you are very sexy,lets go to bed.Now that should impress her!

    Seems to me if you know english, you're good to go. This is America, not Mexico. They don't speak spanish anyway, they speak mexican.

    That is pretty much true. They have polluted the spanish laguage so bad that even someone with extensive training in formal spanish has some trouble communicating.

    Yes among Spanish speakers of the world the Mexican dialect is regarded as the most degraded, as the sloppiest usage of the Spanish language.
    Colombia and Panama are regarded as speaking proper Spanish.

    It will be good to know when the U.S./Mexican Border War erupts. Need to speak Spanish to interrogate the prisoners. Oh, wait. I was just informed... we are not to take ANY prisoners.[:D]
