Hiya I found the knife, it is probably now the high grade
steel I had before, but I found it on ebay.
camping utility knife set 4 blades.
If I can just keep an edge on them I'll be happy

How are you after a couple of weeks? I have had very little pain, what I call discomfort, but I am getting better each day.
Has the Doctor taken the staples out? When is therapy?

So I do not distract on the other thread.....you made this statement, "Yes but certainly not my first choice for the majestic elk. It boils down to personal choice. Having said that, the .300 WM loaded with 215 Berger VLD remains my go-to chambering for antelope to elk size game up 1K yards."

I understand why you would want to go that heavy for a large animal, like an elk, but why for an antelope? Aren't they even smaller than a white-tailed deer?

I would think your 270AI would be more than adequate for the antelope.

PS: Not trying to flame you, just curious.
