Room Mates
Why is it everyone is only looking for a damn female Room Mate, and its not only women, its guys too only looking for women room mates.

Having a female roommate is not a guarantee of anything.
I had a female roommate for about a year, and another for about 6 months. In each case, we decided the intimacy/privacy issues up front, and stuck to our agreement. It is a business arrangement, and if you muddy that by getting romantic, well, you might as well be married.
This one roommate I had was sort of like living with another man. Our house was arranged with two master suites. She stayed in hers and I stayed in mine. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were in between. She never cooked, never cleaned, and was seldom home.0 -
Around universities Women frequently want a male roomate for safety issues. Usually if there is more than one women they will try to find a male for the spot. My ex BIL was in just such a situation with 3 women roomates. 1 of them walked around with no top on all the time. He did not mind.
All in all though women make better roomates. It has been my experience that they are TOTAL slobs but at least they do not feel the need to party all night long.0 -
The big downside is that if you "do it" with your female roomate, she will still be there in the morning when you wake up. 0 -

I've had girls who are my freinds stay at my place and nothing ever happened. But have never had a long term female roommate. Next roommate I have I better damned well be married to because I HATE roommates. 0 -
Back in 1976 I was a young Private MP in the Army stationed at Fort Meade Maryland. There were two fellow female MP's I worked with that were room mates. The were very good looking too, and I got kind of excited when they asked me if I would consider being a third room mate to help share the rent. I wanted a reason to get out of the barracks, and to me shacking up with two good looking ladies was a pretty good reason. However, several other male MP's took me aside and told me that I shouldn't get my hopes up, that both of the girls were gay, and they only wanted me to room with them so that the chain of command wouldn't suspect they were gay. Needless to say my heart sank a bit, and I never did move in with them. Later they were both kicked out of the Army for being gay and I only wonder if I could have converted them had I took them up on their offer.[8D]

That's too funny.[:D] I wonder how many men have an "agenda" to convert them? I'm including myself as well.[:0] In the old days I would find myself spending an inordanate amount of time in conversation with a known one (gay female) in pursuit of known agenda (mission to convert). I can report that I never was successful.[:D][:(][B)]0 -

I had girl roomates all through college. I was never intimate with them though thier friends were something else.
They were fantastic roomates. I went to school in a resort area in the mountains of NC and rented a nice house. I tried to make life better than living in a dadgum dorm with a bunch of freaks like buschmaster. The girl roomates seemed to appreciate that I wanted to maintain some level of decorum!0 -

I had a female room mate back in the mid 80's.(I lived in her condo) She was a STUNNING 6'2" blond, with a slightly "thick" build. Not even overweight, just a bit "big boned".I only lived there for about 6 mo. She only ever had 2 boyfriends,the entire time i lived there. I had about 7-9 girlfriends, over the same span of time. She never openly admitted it, but she used to play like she was "sleep-walking" and come in my room on nights i was alone and crawl into bed with me,NAKED, and poke her butt over against me[:D]

Hell Allen, i ain't no liar...ANd if i had it to do over, i'd do the same damn thing !![}:)] Crappy part is, she died, drunk driving in "91.Hit a bridge abutment at somewhere around 80 MPH.. Sad, she was a real hottie...0
