need medical advice
first off i ain't going to the doctor. i told her off over the last visit so i ain't welcome there no mo. these young doctors are idiots! the problem is everytime i eat my stomach hurts so bad i almost can't take it. i read that it might be gastritis or maybe roomis egloomis. who knows. it came on all of a sudden like last week. what do you recomend?

My wife had the same thing happen a while back. It turned out to be an ulcer. I am not sure if there are any OTC remedies for an ulcer, so you may have to find a new doc. 0 -

could be anything..ulcers ,sprue,cancer,blocked colon,gastritis,gall bladder, blocked bile duct, unless you are willing to do tests, who knows? your doctor can't help you if you won't listen. 0 -
Gott: what's the diet like? Can you record food intake for a couple of days, then get back to us? Symptoms suddenly doesn't mean onset of the problem suddenly. Could have been quite a while in coming to the point you started to feel symptoms.

Many people commonly rationalize a doctors incompetence when they get news they don't want to hear.
You say the doctor is an idiot, but you're the one in so much pain you can't eat and won't go see another doctor. I don't think anyone should run off to a doctor any time they have any little discomfort, but you're hurting, and delaying treatment by that doctor or any other, does no benefit to you, and does no harm to the doctor. So do yourself a favor and don't try 10 different things over the next week or two in the hopes that it may heal itself, you should go see a professional.0 -

Go find another Doc. You need to see a doc. I had intestinal problems for a long time before seeing a doc. It got so bad I convinced myself I had colon cancer. I finally scheduled an appoinment with a gastro intestinal doc and and got scoped. It was IBS. He was surprised I waited so long. It could have ben a lot worse. I did the same thing with a hernia. Sucked it up for alomost two years before getting it fixed. 0 -

SO why did you tell her off?...said something you dont agree with?...I dont care for drs because of working with them, BUT I do know when to see a dr, and you need to see one....Dont be stupid, swallow your pride and apologise....Talk to her and explain things..the drs arent mind readers...

In the Army, as a medic, I worked with many doctors. I have been with a HMO for over 28 years. My wife works at a HMO (the same). For me the shine on the medical profession wore off a long time ago. I know there are crappy physicians but most are competant professionals. You are resposible for your health not the medical profession. If you get a dud physican go find another. The pain you feel isn't bothering your former doctor one little bit. Go find a physician that 1. Knows the profession and 2. Cares. 0 -

Google up acid reflux disease and read up on it to see if the symptoms fit your problem. Suffering from acid reflux disease can lead to all kinds of serious complications like bleeding ulcers and cancer. There are prescription and over the counter drugs that are available for those who have acid reflux disease, too. However, You "need" a doctor in internal medicine to help you with determining what your problem is so that you can be helped with this medical issue. Find one, tell him/her the problem you have, and let them run the appropriate tests and determine a course of treatment for you. Whatever you do, "do not delay" in seeing a doctor ASAP! 0 -

that cause your pain. Could be Iritable Bowel Syndrome. Go see a
doc and stop your suffering before you wait too long and it turns
