    I just sold a case of this that was defective...they did not light up. I sent it back to federal to have them check it out.

    i would love to have some tracer ammo, but that is one thing that has been banned to civilians here since the dat dot! to big of a risk in starting bush fires...pity, but it is one thing i can understand the government banning.

    Don't they burn-up your bbl? That Phosphorus has to have some ill-affect.

    They do not light till quite a way out of the bbl. Has no worse effects then shooting any other ammo.

    I don't shoot fmj's anymore.One evening I shot a tracer across a field and into a dirt bank.After it hit the dirt it flew back up in the air.Who knows where it went from there.I shoot hollow points now, cause when they hit the dirt they blow up and are done.

    We have some of that at the store. No problems from any of it yet....anyone in the market for this ammo should take a chance and buy some. That is a GREAT price. Thank you MVP for posting the find!
