SELLERS AND QUESTIONS

One of the finest sellers on GB that I have dealt with was redstradingpost. They answered questions in a civil manner just about as fast as I could ask them. I think we should start posting the sellers names who have treated us, (buyers) with respect.

    I've only bought about 30 things on GB. Half of them guns. All the sellers I have delt with have been super, but I haven't delt with any of the A+30,00000000 sellers, yet. I have only had one seller not respond to a question, and that was late in the auction.

    Thank you. As previously stated, if I get a question about an item I have for sale, I feel as though I didn't do my job in describing it. IMNSHO, good photographs and detailed, accurate descriptions are just part of good customer service.

    Thank you BAMA!!! You are a great guy to do business with yourself....come see me if you are in the area. Nutfin keeps missing me by minutes whenever he comes by. I haven't had one guy on the forums go wrong as a buyer....with over 1,000 internet sales (including other sites) I have only had TWO bad guys. Not a bad run if I say so myself.

    LF & Bellshireguns are about the best I have delt with although I have really not had a bad experience with any sellers on GB.

    I have have a couple flakes in the form of buyers though.

    I always like seeing LFs auctions, she does a great job with the listings...

    I've done business with Nunn - the shoes are great

    There is a seller "milstuff" that I've bought some FAL mags from, very quick and excellent transaction.


    Most of my dealings have been with small time sellers though, and they've all been great.

    I bought a couple of small things from Locust and had no problem but you can bet your sweet ass I won't be buying again now that I know how she regards buyers. Have bought from nunn also and had no problem. I would buy from him again simply because I believe he is full of hot air and WOULD answer a dumb question from me with a smile! [:D]

    I just registered recently as a buyer here, in order to Buy It Now on an auction I wanted. As I proceeded through the process I was stopped by a message box that said I couldn't Buy It Now since I don't have a credit card and didn't have at least two positive feedbacks as a buyer. Since the credit card thing prevents me from Buy It Now sales I can't get the positive feedbacks. So, I went back and bid $0.01 over the starting price to establish An Official Bid On An Auction. Now I have to wait a week to find out if I will be allowed to actually buy something on GunBroker with a money order.

    I sure didn't run into this Catch 22, Rule 303 stuff in the years I've been buying off of eBay. There I just bypassed all the sellers that posted PayPal Only No Exceptions, Credit Card Only No Exceptions, etc, and stuck with sellers that OK'd checks and money orders. No problems with over a hundred buys so far.

    I have only ever had ONE other man throw a hissy fit that could compare with this one. He is a regular in the store and shoots an AMAZING score with shotguns at the club....trap, skeet anything he does is just AMAZING! Since he comes in all the time I know him pretty well and in talking (just talk not really meaning anything) I said to him.... "I'd like to go shooting with you sometime." I really wouldn't have the time to go even if invited, but in being nice and making small talk it just came out. He says back to me...."I don't shoot with women its bad luck."

    (Like I can just let that little statement go.)


    I give him a chance to turn it into a "kidding" statement with a slight pause.....and then I said....."I had no idea you were gay." He was TICKED. Its funny how prissy a grown man gets when he's trying to defend the fact he's not gay. Nobody ever thought for one second that he was....or even thought things were serious at all between us. He got over it...but the next time he came in the store he was taunting me by wearing PINK jeans!!!!
