    That is an offensive and baseless statement right there. The Glock is the proven design of the two, and actually looks good next to those inferior blasters[:)]

    I own both. Both are great firearms. Personally I'm not a fan of the 1911 style firearms. I have had alot of jamming/FTF issues with them.

    The only gun I've owned that has never jammed/FTF no matter what is ALL my Glocks. [;)]

    Let's bash the gun that our gun is copied from.

    Sounds like good advertising to me.

    It's not even a true Springfield. It's a redone HS2000. At least Glock came up with his own design and didn't have to buy a design that was copied for another design.

    I take great umbrage at your post, since in my opinion Glock makes NOTHING that is great.

    I personally like the 1911, but even I have to admit it's a picky piece of hardware if you don't lavish lots of attention and money on it.

    If it were not for Gaston Glock's design, the SA XD, HK USP, S&W Sigma, Walther P99, and many others would have had nothing to base their designs off from...they subsequently would not be here today. Just take a careful look at all of the similarities between all the combat tupperware....then ask yourself...who was here first?

    The First in Tupaware pistols was and Is HK.
    16 years before Glock hit the market with their "First Ever Plastic Pistol" HK had already been selling one and to this day are still the leaders[:D].
