Some soul-purging is usually a good thing.
The question is,are you looking for absolution, or empathy?

    Here you go LOKO!

I'm upper, upper class high society
    God's gift to ballroom notoriety
And I always fill my ballroom
    The event is never small
the social papers say I've got the biggest balls of all

    CHORUS
    I've got big balls
    I've got big balls
    And they're such big balls
    fancy big balls
    And he's got big balls,
    And she's got big balls,
But we've got the biggest balls of them all!

And my balls are always bouncing
    My ballroom always full
And everybody comes and comes again
If your name is on the guest list
No one can take you higher

Everybody says I've got great balls of fire!

    CHORUS

Some balls are held for charity
    And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure,
They're the balls that I like best.
And my balls are always bouncing,
To the left and to the right.
It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night.

    CHORUS

And I'm just itching to tell you about them
Oh, we have such wonderful fun
    Seafood cocktail
    Crabs
    Crayfish

You need to stop listening to country music, at least for a while, until you don't feel the need to make a post such as this one. I suggest some classical, J.S. Bach......

And don't take me wrong! I do not miss my ex at all! Infact I am glad she is gone![;)]

But after 4 years I think I am just tired of being single.[:(]

From the halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli,

We fight our countrys battles In the air, on land, and sea,

First to fight for right and freedom , And to keep our honor clean,

We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marines.

Our flags unfurl'd to every breeze From dawn to setting sun.

We have fought in every clime and place Where we could take a gun.

In the snow of far-off northern lands And in sunny tropic scenes,

You will find us always on the job - The United States Marines.

    Here's health to you and to our Corps Which we are proud to serve;

In many a strife we've fought for life And never lost our nerve.

If the Army and the Navy Ever gaze on Heaven's scenes,

They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines.

    Gets me every time.

First and foremost, bag the country music, at least for a while. I like country, but a steady diet of it is not healthy, due to it's overall all negativity.

During my last (of two) divorces I was treated for depression. I was the first person my doctor prescribed Prozac to. He asked me what kind of music I listened to and I told him "Why, Country music, what else?"
    He said:
    "Stop"

Thank God for Prozac and Classic Rock and Roll!

For starters, I suggest the "Brandenburg Concertos" 1 thru 3, then 5, then the "Goldberg Variations"...

Hey GRD, try Little Miss Can't Be Wrong by the Spin Doctors. Blues rock, but pretty much sums up my feelings for my ex....

The "Goldberg variations" is what Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg did on their wedding night.

And a great recording of the piece is pianist Glenn Gould, his second made in the 80s-his first is great, but I prefer the second recording.

"Cat's in the cradle" by Harry Chapin always gave me pause to think and spend time with my kids when were young.

A child arrived just the other day,
He came to the world in the usual way.
But there were planes to catch, and bills to pay.
He learned to walk while I was away.
And he was talking 'fore I knew it, and as he grew,
He'd say, "I'm gonna be like you, dad.
You know I'm gonna be like you."

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man in the moon.
"When you coming home, dad?" "I don't know when,
    But we'll get together then.
You know we'll have a good time then."

My son turned ten just the other day.
He said, "Thanks for the ball, dad, come on let's play.
Can you teach me to throw?" I said, "Not today,
I got a lot to do." He said, "That's ok."
And he walked away, but his smile never dimmed,
Said, "I'm gonna be like him, yeah.
You know I'm gonna be like him."

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man in the moon.
"When you coming home, dad?" "I don't know when,
    But we'll get together then.
You know we'll have a good time then."

Well, he came from college just the other day,
So much like a man I just had to say,
"Son, I'm proud of you. Can you sit for a while?"
He shook his head, and he said with a smile,
"What I'd really like, dad, is to borrow the car keys.
See you later. Can I have them please?"

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man in the moon.
"When you coming home, son?" "I don't know when,
But we'll get together then, dad.
You know we'll have a good time then."

I've long since retired and my son's moved away.
I called him up just the other day.
I said, "I'd like to see you if you don't mind."
He said, "I'd love to, dad, if I could find the time.
You see, my new job's a hassle, and the kid's got the flu,
But it's sure nice talking to you, dad.
It's been sure nice talking to you."
And as I hung up the phone, it occurred to me,
He'd grown up just like me.
My boy was just like me.

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon,
Little boy blue and the man in the moon.
"When you coming home, son?" "I don't know when,
But we'll get together then, dad.
You know we'll have a good time then."

If you are tired of being single, only you can change that...Instead of sitting home, try getting out and meeting ppl, and no I dont suggest a bar....
Get off here and go do things...take your kids out to events where you know mothers will be...there are single moms too...Get a paper and find out whats going on in the community, get out and as rcxs old lady said,...get rid of teh country music...
Its been responsible for more murders and suicides than any other music ....
