Rebates would go to people earning below a certain income cap, likely individuals earning $75,000 or less and couples with incomes of $150,000 or less.

Once again, those that pay the most get the shaft. Just because I don't have kids and have clawed my way into a decent living, I have to turn over 15% of my paycheck (not including FICA, Medicare, or State) so that the government can give it away to people who don't even pay taxes! HG it's always a catch 22. If the "rich" got a check too many would scream bloody murder that Bush is just for the rich as usual and is still screwing the poor.

Any of you guys know what a self employed person pays in taxes, especially if incorporated?
We pay 15% just in SS/MC because we are employee, and employer!
Withholding I won't even get into,.........I hate this time of year anyway,......preparing to be screwed by the IRS in April, but this makes it even better.[}:)]0 -

...I wish to hell they wouldn't/hadn't done it. It's just another "freebie" that is not free...it's our tax dollars; and you can bet your butt that our uncle will get back what he pays out, down the line.
