Man is doomed...

Get this... read a post about thus earlier over on slashdot...
"Synthetic Sperm" may be made from the bome marrow of females....
No man is required from now on....
Boys man may be doomed to a life alone or with a dead weight freeloader or maybe we'll just get bashed against the wall at birth!!!

    I'm no holy roller, but I think it's dangerous to mess with mother nature and play God. Especially in cases like this

    There wouldn't be any men. All of the children produced from "female sperm" would be female. They lack the all-important Y chromosome.

    I don't think we have to worry too much...if they try doing that and the female population on the planet skyrockets, they'll start "societal purification" automatically. Just think what twice as many female drivers would result in world-wide.[:D][:D][:D]

    this would never fly in China and India...girls are routinely aborted or left to die soon after birth, since sons are highly prized...they are messing with the balance of men to women.

    A smart Indian or Chinese would have girls, since the harder to find females would go to the highest male bidder.

    Yes, I know, repulsive...but not as repulsive as killing a baby/aborting a fetus just becuase of its gender
