They say, "Be afraid for your lives." But they leave the border open.
"We need to fight them there." But they leave the border open.
"We have to take some of your liberty, a little more each year, to keep you secure." But they leave the border open.
So which is it???
There must be a reason to leave the border open, even though we need to be in fear of these baaaad people. Let's see, what could it be? Well, the more illegals that pour across our border, the weaker our economy becomes, and the calls for NAU. You can't have NAU with a closed sovereign border. And, if one of those baaaad people smuggle something in, oh well, what's a couple hundred thousand "ordinary" people matter? Martial law, all liberty wiped out "for security".

Don't be blinded to what he says just because you like him. I like him. I also think he is a good and honorable man, I just think he's in left fiefld on this issue, and it's an important one to me.

That portion of my post was directed at the honorable Australian resident, Mr. Kelly, as a continuation of his comments in another post. Thank you Dan. I supported Paul for 20 years. No more. He's good for the constitution, but not for the war on terror. He is a good an honorable man, but he's the wrong man at this time for the office of President. 0 -
Well, I disagree. Only because he is the only one addressing the myriad domestic issues. If we don't solve the problems in our own backyard, there won't be an America to fight terrorism. Besides, I'm willing to give his theory as to why there are terrorists who hate us to begin with, a try. Seems we only give them reason to exist, instead farming or something else. He's not an isolationist as the media tries to spin it, he is a non-interventionist. Big difference. That is what the founders prescribed. As near as I can tell, they were about 100,000% smarter than the folks running our country at this point.
I believe "good on the constitution" trumps "good on the war". The war is manageable no matter who is potus. Losing our constitution is not acceptable. I would rather an outside entity try to take us down, than do it for them from within by taking down our own system.0 -

you sure dont have to thank me, to me it is insane to have open borders..the risk of someone bringing in something that could kill millions of people is just to great.
i just can not undrestand, and i never will understand why security is taken so seriously at u.s. airports but isnt even given a thought when it comes to checking who or what walks over or is carried over your borders!.
i will give you an example...lets say ive applied for a visa to go to the u.s. but for some reason have been refused...i might have a drug conviction or i might have been convicted of armed robbery or spent time in prison for killing someone.
...now as i cant go to the u.s. legally, i decide im going to canada...seeing as canada and australia both belong to the british commonwealth of nations , it is very easy for me to go to canada...theres not many checks on me at all...while im there i go close to the u.s. border and decide to just walk across an invisible line and im in the u.s....now if i know your borders are patrolled be armed soldiers, im going to think twice before i risk getting a bullet up my backside, but as i know your borders arent patrolled, im just going to go in there because i know i can...and if a cop asks me where ive come from and where im going ill tell him i lost my passport in the river and im going to a hotel to book a room and call my embassy to arrange a new one...and i would expect that officer to say ..."have a nice day sir, would you like a lift to your hotel"...

Does that mean that the way we have chosen to fight this so called "war on terror" is not being done according to the constitution?
If it is, explain how it fits within the Supreme Law of The Land.
If it is not, how do you reconcile our actions with the Supreme Law of The Land.
Are we to ignore the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights when it pertains to someones definition of the "war on terror", or are we to merely "fudge" a bit on the Constitution since some will say that the ends justify the means?
Can there not be an effective "offensive" on "terror" that fits within the framework of the Constitution?

Yes Dan, they can understand that, but you see, it will take a terrorist act within the US to propagate a dictatorial move against the 2nd Amendment AND against the remainder of our individual freedoms.
Once we are hit, the Fed can use that as an excuse to push through the remainder of their agenda of "globalism". To do that, they must first disarm America to a large degree.
