Is it possible to get a copy of flights that are eligible for hopps leaving from either Seymour Johnson or Pope AF bases going to Travis AFB with a return about a week or so later.

I am trying to plan a trip for me and the kids in June or July.

Or is this too far out to see schedualed flights?

I am trying to save a little money by takeing a hopps instead of driving or takeing a comercial flight.

    I have no idea, sorry. That service isn't available at Minot due to us being a bomber base and nothing else flies in here.

    if you call the base operator at either one they can give you the number to Base Ops. They will know what they have going out. However I think that they do not have this much advance notice.

    Our C-130s here only list their flights that have Space A a week to 2 weeks in advance at the most.

    Since the start of Iraq, not many bases have Space A with the 130s since they are deployed so much

    you know they have medivac flights, they run all over.
    check with the hospital, they can give you the medivac
    details. I used them since I retired.

    Thanks for the responces.

    I am not sure about the operations at Johnson or Pope but I do know that Travis flys mostly C141's and C5's.

    Niether of my kids have ever flown and I think they would enjoy it.

    I am in no way afraid of flying but I prefer to drive. After 16 years of driving truck I just enjoy getting out on road trips.

    We will see. We might still drive as that way I can stop and meet some of you fine people along the way and I have a good friend in Alberq NM that I have not seen in about 15 years I would like to stop and see.

    I'll play it by ear for now as I have plenty of time to plan.
