    I ordered one in 12GA, I will use it for bird hunting on nice days. The .410 is very nice but I cant afford to shoot it.

    NightHawk. We make our own shot, and save every 410 hull we can find and reload them for 1/3rd of the cost .. Only way I could afford to shoot that much skeet and trap..[8D]

    My pop bought one back in the 50's. A Rem. M48 i believe. I used it all the time wile growing-up. I killed everything from Grey Squirrels to Black ducks with it. He gave it to my big brother a few years ago. Still works like a charm...

    Best I can remember when looking in the catalog the .410 was the most expensive of the Model 1100's. Loading your own Im sure makes a big difference not only in price, but performance as well.

    Skeet with a .410? I can't keep up with the old timers using my
    12ga. 870 skeet gun. My Dad told me long ago that a .410 is for experts.
    Of which you Classic obviously are. Congrats on the new shotgun, and on being good enough to use it.[^]

    Thats a nice one Classic, I had one just like that that i used to shoot skeet with, I sold it to a friend a while back[V]

    Now i cheat, I shoot a Browning Gold 20ga instead[8D]

    I agree with you on the fact only the real shooters out there shoot in the small bore league[;)]

    I shot skeet and trap for years with a 12, then tried a 20 and it wasnt that much difference, so went to the real challenge and did the 410, liked it so much my 12s and 20s feel neglected..My next challenge in skeet is to find (dammit I sold one of these a few years back) A marlin 25MG garden gun in .22 mag smoothbore.. [;)]
