Anybody know if RIA knows ... GRD, ya out there?

It seems like I've seen a Rock Island Armory 1911 wide body ... Thought I'd seen them in Shotgun News a couple years ago but I can't seem to find one now!

I'm thinking it would make a great receiver for my ATM Longslide [}:)]

    RIA does make a wide bodt double stack. I do not have one as of yet but they do hit the auctions here on GB from time to time.

    If you just want a frame you can see if they are avaible from Ray or Ivan at 775-537-1444.

    Yes RIA does offer a wide body gun and if memory serves me at 12:20am Accusport has them in stock. Your local FFL dealer should be able to get you one fairly easy.

    Any time.

    Ivan and Ray are real decent guys to talk with and are allways willing to help out.

    A standard frame runs about $115. I am not sure if a double stack is still avaible or what it would cost but those are the guys to answer that.
